Queen of divine light
The Matronita is the Queen of divine light, highest expression of inner and outer beauty, representing the will to change and to build new life styles and forms of communication, following those vibrations that link us instinctively to others, without distancing ourselves from them.
A fashion event featuring many artistic figures that shall define the power of feminine beauty, source of productive energy and harmony.
White promotes Ludovica Amati during Milan Fashion Week, uniting her strength as a fashion designer and will to launch a message, to aggregate transversal but complementary artistic strength and create a small positive movement in a moment in which everything seems difficult.
Ludovica Amati again presents a collection of ancient and deep roots, but also contemporary for its ability to communicate a message of light in the darkness of current difficulties.
Impassioned by her will to speak to others and tell of what she has seen on her travels that have brought her since she was very young to faraway places in search of that truth that is in fact inside ourselves.
She has deepened her code of inspiration, creating a combination of elements that celebrate the felinity of the body in movement, swaying, dynamic but also refined: as she has already done in her last collection where she transferred the song of the Shibipo women into the graphics of her fabrics, now writing true messages onto her clothes. The signs characterise the curves and the construction of the items: letters, words that are
embroidered and printed to decorate her precious fabrics with the light of saving grace. Thanks to the advice of the Rabbi Yoel Kraus, she has managed to create a new expression of her feminine typology that places her among the conceptual stylists, true artists of a genre that do not allow superfluous vulgarity. A style made for
lengthy items of clothing, like long petticoats, or academic gowns that cover the naked body so as to protect it, mother’s lace, of ancient women that become sensual but never lose their seriousness, night gowns and shawls that for the first time in the history of fashion are inspired by the Thalit coat, up until now only masculine, of the Jewish culture.
A cultured and precious collection, rich in content thanks also to the collaboration with Emiliano Maggi, artist, performer and musician that conceived the jewel buttons for the overcoats.
Matronita will be presented by White at the Castello Sforzesco in Milano during Fashion Week on the 21st of September 2013 in a performance with the collaboration of international artists, musicians, sound designers such as Johanna Preiss, Davide Dormino, Silvia Morani, Valentina Ilardi Martin, Diego Buongiorno and Gigi Martinucci.
